Irrigation systems

Your lawn.
Watered perfectly.

For the first 10 days, new sod wants water two or three times a day. Down here, one hot windy afternoon without it shows up fast. A zoned system takes that job off your plate for good.

For your yard

Protect what you paid for.

New sod costs real money. Keeping it alive with a sprinkler system costs much less than laying it twice.

Watering new sod by hand

  • Corners the hose never reaches go brown first
  • Midday watering burns off before it soaks in
  • Skip one hot July day and the damage shows
  • A weekend away puts a new lawn at risk

A zoned sprinkler system

  • Even water across each zone, with no dry or flooded spots
  • Starts on its own early in the morning, with the right amount
  • The rain sensor holds off when a storm already did the work
  • Steady watering gets the roots set in about 3 weeks

The parts we put in.

Pro-grade gear, the kind golf courses run. Nothing from a big-box store shelf.

Toro pop-up heads, they drop out of sight when off and put down water evenly in each zone
Hunter Hydrawise Wi-Fi timer, runs from your phone, so a second-home owner can check it from anywhere
A rain sensor on every job, the system pauses itself when it rains
Backflow preventer to local code, keeps your drinking water safe and the install up to code
Pipe pulled with a vibratory plow, a thin 2-inch slit, not an open trench, that heals in days
Zones laid out on site, heads placed for your sun, shade, slope and soil, and quoted by zone

New systems, fixes and yearly care.

01

A new system

Planned around your yard, put in over 1 or 2 days and tuned before the crew leaves.

02

Fixes and upgrades

Broken heads, a zone that leaks, a timer acting up. Quoted up front and fixed while we are there.

03

Season care

A spring turn-on with a pressure check and a fall blowout before the freeze. Or let the Annual Irrigation Package cover the whole year for you.

Package members never pay a service visit fee during the year. see the plan ›Like to see the cost laid out first? What a sprinkler system costs around Rock Hill ›

Questions we hear a lot.

What does a sprinkler system cost around Rock Hill?
Every system gets a free written quote. It covers the controller, a rain sensor, the backflow preventer and the labor. Big properties with many zones cost more. You get the number in writing, and it does not grow once work starts.
Do I put in sprinklers before or after the sod?
Best case, both go in together. One crew handles the job on one schedule, and the new grass gets water on day one. If you have to pick one, pick the sprinklers. New sod with no water is a big risk. Water on the lawn you already have still helps it.
How many days does the install take?
Most homes are done in one or two days. We pull pipe with a vibratory plow, which leaves a thin 2-inch slit in the ground instead of an open trench. The cut closes up within days and is hard to spot.
Which parts do you install?
Toro heads and Toro valves, the same kind of parts used on golf courses. The timer is a Hunter Hydrawise Wi-Fi controller you run from your phone. It can adjust watering for rain, heat and the time of year.
Can you fix, open and close my system each year?
Yes. We do spring turn-ons, fall blowouts, new heads, extra zones and timer upgrades. Service visits are quoted up front. Members of the Annual Irrigation Package skip the service-call fee.

Why irrigation comes first ›

Put the hose away for good.

Adding new sod too? We line up both jobs with one crew and one date, so the grass gets water on day one.
