Your soil in Tega Cay.
What it needs.

Every yard gets checked before we price it. We look at the soil, the grade and the drainage, then build the soil up so the new sod has something to root into.

Soil type: Checked on every job before we quote. Soil prep is part of every install.

Grading and drainage decide how a new lawn holds up. We fix the grade before the sod goes down so water runs away from the house.

You do not need to be home. We measure your yard from satellite, send a price, and the crew handles the rest.

Questions from Tega Cay.

How much does sod installation cost in Tega Cay?
Every yard gets a free written quote, measured from satellite. The price covers the complete process: old lawn out, composted topsoil, lime, starter fertilizer, fresh-cut tall fescue laid in big net-free rolls and finished with a 300 lb roller, and 30 days of aftercare.
When is the best time to install sod in Tega Cay?
Tall fescue sod can go down almost any time the ground is not frozen, and fall and spring are easiest. Bermuda and zoysia sod root best from late spring into early summer, once the soil is warm.
Do I need irrigation for a new lawn in Tega Cay?
Over 1,500 sqft, yes. New sod at that size cannot survive on hand watering, so we install larger lawns only with zoned irrigation, either an existing system we check or one we install with the project.
Do you install sod in Tega Cay?
Yes. Text your address to (803) 902-3960 and we will measure your yard from satellite and send a free quote.
Do I need to be home?
No. We measure from satellite, and the crew only needs access to the yard.
What is the best grass for a lawn in Tega Cay?
It depends on sun and shade. Tall fescue handles shade best, bermuda wants full sun and heavy use, and zoysia makes a thick lawn in sun. We help you pick before we quote. See our guide: /blog/best-grass-for-rock-hill-lawns.
How much does sod installation cost in Tega Cay?
It depends on the size of the yard, what has to come out, how much soil prep and grading it needs, and the grass you pick. We measure from satellite and send a free written quote.
